Hello and welcome to Videogame workshop where we talk all things related to videogame development. I’m Dennis Ramirez, founder of Videogame Workshop, and I’ve been working in videogames for the past 14 years. During that time I have worked on award winning educational games, was the Technical director for USC IMGD (consistently the top game design and development program in the US), and have given talks at LEGO, GDC, and TED.

The thing I like most about videogames is that they’re a new, expressive, platform that allow people to create and share experiences in a way that has never been done before. I know how powerfully expressive videogames are and my mission is to get as many people involved in creating their own games as possible. So, if you want to follow along and flex your design skills, learn new skills, or create your very first game, you’ve come to the right place!
